11 months

Carter turned 11 months last week, and we are still trying to believe it! He is such a smart boy. He started taking his 1st steps around 9.5 months, and is walking really well now. He can say mama, dada, bubba, dexter, nana (banana), cracker, ball and no no. He can nod yes and no. He is trying to say new words everyday. He will also clap and wave when you ask him. He loves to make animal noises. So far I can get him to make a noise for dog, sheep, and monkey. He likes to dance, and it is so funny to see him do it when he hears music. It is more of a Stevey Wonder side to side dance than the typically baby bounce. He loves to play with balls. He has a pretty good arm too. He is not really liking a lot of solid food yet. He will eat any kind of bread or cracker and loves bananas and blueberries. If he can't have those he would prefer baby food. He is a decent sleeper, but an early riser just like his brother. He absolutely loves his brother still. They have already started to wrestle a little. Jackson is learning how to carefully wrestle! Carter loves it whenever Jackson pays him attention, as long as he is not stealing his toys of course. He is so smiley and fun to be around. I can't believe he is almost 1!
