18 months

Jackson will be 18 months old tomorrow! Time has really flown by since he was born. He is such a blessing and we love him more than we could ever imagine! He is really talking a lot now. He is starting to say a lot of 2 word combinations that really crack us up. He likes to tell his food bye bye before he eats it! He prays as soon as he sits down in his high chair and says amen when we finish praying. It's just adorable. :) He is all boy and loves to run, jump and climb on everything. He will try to say just about anything you ask him to. His intelligence never ceases to amaze us! Thank you God for such an awesome little boy!

Photo Shoot

Our backyard has a really pretty red maple in it, and we thought it would be fun to get some pics of Jackson with it as the leaves were turning. They turned out really cute!

Pumpkin Patch

Our trip to the pumpkin patch was a lot different from last year. We had a tough time getting Jackson to sit still long enough to take a picture, but he definitely had a lot of fun. As soon as he saw the pumpkins he started yelling "ball, ball". He learned how to say pumpkin by the end of the day, but he loved trying to pick up all the "balls." He also really liked seeing all the animals they have out there, especially the horses. His favorite animals right now are horses and dogs. He can spot them anywhere!

Halloween

Jackson was batman this year for Halloween. He liked running around to the houses in his outfit, but was not sure about why we were ringing everyone's doorbell. We got a couple of pics in his mask, but he wouldn't keep it on. He really enjoyed handing out candy to everyone more than getting candy himself!

Walking the Dog

Jackson figured out how to walk the dog a couple of weeks ago and he does it now every chance he gets! Dexter likes it because he gets to come outside and play with us. He's a very good sport about it.

4 Wheeler

Matt let Jackson ride the 4 wheeler with him last weekend, and Jackson is obsessed with it now! When Matt puts him on it he starts saying "Bye, bye" over and over. He throws a fit when we take him off of it. Matt is looking forward to the day when Jackson can really ride it. (I am not looking forward to that day!)

I want to be like you...

Jackson loves helping us around the house right now. He loves to help unload the dishwasher, put clothes in the washer or dryer, and help Daddy mow. I caught a few pictures of him "mowing" the backyard while Daddy was out front mowing.
