Sunday morning

These are some cute pics from this morning before church. Carter will be 6 months old next Saturday. Time has really flown by since he was born. He can sit up by himself fairly well now. He squeals so loudly when he is excited or when he feels ignored. He is so happy and smiles most of the day. He loves to eat anything we will feed him, and is constantly trying to steal food from our plate. He also loves his brother. Jackson can make Carter laugh just by looking at him. The boys have developed quite a cute bond. I can't wait until they are old enough to really play together.
Jackson is also growing up so fast. He is really into watching Curious George right now. He would watch for hours if we let him, but he only gets about 30 minutes total a day. I can tell his attention span is getting much longer when it comes to cartoons. We went to the library this month and he rented a Cordoroy book, Curious George book and a Handy Manny video. We read and watched all 3 of them everyday for 2 weeks. He wants more books, but is not too fond of going to the library. Being quiet is not really his thing! He is potty trained, except for naptime and bedtime. I think this is awesome for a boy! He knows his whole alphabet, but can't sing his ABC's yet. He can recognize all the letters though. He can count to 10, and recognize 1 through 9 if he seems them on paper. He still loves to learn, so we are trying to keep fostering that passion. He is finally sleeping through the night, so hopefully that continues. Now if we can just Carter to start sleeping through the night before he is 2.5 we will be doing good!
